Zago Eugenio and Giustina Matiazzo, Zago Marino, Zago Giuseppe, and Zago Mariarosa were respectively born. They start leading the company in their early twenties because of the premature death of their father.

Further recognition in 1951.
1958
On January 18th, 1958 Zago Giuseppe marries Bernardi Onorina. Endowed with incredible agricultural skills and with immense kindness and generosity, she was a restless worker: she took care of the stable, milking, and home milk delivery, and pruned the vines. The courtyard was always adorned with colorful flower. A genuine master of hospitality and kindness. She had two daughers: Mariagiustina and Rita.
1962
Zago Giuseppe purchases a 1942 Willis Jeep, the first agricultural and transport vehicle to arrive on the farm.
1965
Zago Giuseppe, a charismatic, silent, and sharp leader, managed to pave the way, producing and commercializing a genuine and sincere wine, which he believed in: Prosecco di Valdobbiadene refermented in the bottle. This became the one and only method we used thereafter.
1968
Mariarosa and her husband purchased a mansion in Saccol di Valdobbiadene, at the base of Mount Crosetto, which included vineyards and woods. Today the wine made from grapes coming from this vineyard is named after Aunt Mariarosa.
1972
Birth year of the parchment-surrounded label: since then the distinctive emblem of Ca' dei Zago.
1986 1988
Mariagiustina and Saverio had two children: Christian and Marika.
1992
The first expansion of the underground cellar took place thanks to the commitment of Saverio and Mariagiustina.
2006

Christian's obtained a degree in viticulture and oenology. After some winemaking experience in New Zealand and in a local winery, he went back to the company.
2011
Marika obtained a degree in viticulture and oenology too. She opted to gain some practical knowledge in Champagne and in a sparkling wine producer in Valdobbiadene, she returned to Ca' dei Zago.
